

Just wanted to share my philosophy behind a couple of our go-to rifles and encourage you all to get your significant other the same quality of firearms, gear and equipment as you are for yourself. If you had a choice, and were actually preparing for an upcoming conflict, would you want to split your range time on an infinite combination of firearm and optic combos, or stick with the same rifle and optic in an attempt to achieve mastery or at the very least proficiency? With limited range time and money for ammunition, it may serve you to focus on getting really good with whatever rifle you would grab if you could only grab one. I want us both to be proficient and confident as we continue to train and learn on our individual rifles, but also want uniformity so that regardless of whose rifle we are holding, we will know how to utilize not only the rifle but the optic as well. There is nothing wrong with different rifle set-ups, but when it comes to your “go-to” rifles, there is definitely something to be said about having similar equipment. 2.) If she knows how to utilize her rifle and optic, then she essentially knows my rifle and vice versa.
